Today, we want to tell you about our second Sociopreneurship Sharing activity. Still in Al Hayah Hayatuna Foundation but with even more audiences! Our owner spoke at self-development seminar about EASTmayya and it's social business, also share quite much about her personal experience .. How she pioneered the brand and cause, journeys of up and down and some other things.
During the “Question and Answer” session, the enthusiasm was really awesome and the audiences were keen on asking and digging more about social business. In fact, some of them have already started building their business. WOW!
There was someone who posed an intriguing question though ;)
She asked, "You formerly studied accounting but now you are doing business .. How do you deal with such?"
>>Our founder giggled and answered, “First, we must always believe in Allah’s ordinance, and this includes His destiny to put me in that major, accounting of FEUI. So, I learned to live and survive while trying the best though any challenges and difficulties arouse.
I was eager to pass on time with good GPA.. And I could, alhamdulillah ..
Next is, try to look inside us.. It's like putting a mirror in front of us but don't just see the outer look, but check the invisible matters within us ..
Our personal interest, joy, talent, idealism, and follow it up soon. Do something, take action, pursue our dream by using all of the potentials we own.
Of course, we need to always ask Allah for His guidance all throughout the way.
Well, moreover, the philosophy of accounting could be applied still in our life, including while running this social business. So, if something happens and we feel that it is 'wrong' or inappropriate, don't be down too long in disappointment. Learn fast, get up quickly and let’s enjoy it!"
And an audience with the best question received a beautiful gift; one of our limited canvas pouchcycle! Hamdulillah..
